This was a Product Design Assignment I received, a little bit of context on what the Superr App does 👇

Digital media has rapidly transformed how parents and children interact, entertain themselves, and solve daily problems, with even very young children now regular users of smartphones and tablets. This early digital engagement presents new challenges to parent-child relationships, particularly as children develop unhealthy digital habits during the pandemic.

To address these challenges, we built Superr, a parental control software designed to help parents create a safe online environment for their kids. Superr allows parents to manage website, game, and app usage, enabling children to learn online without distractions. Filters ensure kids enjoy the internet safely, without constant supervision.

However, we understand that digital parenting is more than just setting controls—it's about comprehending, supporting, and regulating children's activities in digital environments. Effective digital parenting requires discipline, organization, and accountability to minimize friction over screen time and foster healthy habits.

As part of this challenge, I explored the Superr app that embodies these principles and more. I then selected areas for improvement and redesigned them to enhance the user experience. Read more about it here 👇👇
